Welcome to the first step on your journey

Feeling trapped in a cycle of negative thoughts can be exhausting. With Cognitive Behavioural Therapy there are ways to manage your anxiety, low mood and low self-esteem issues to live a more fulfilling life.

Everyday issues can overwhelm and weigh you down. Together, we’ll explore the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to create lasting change.

I employ a collaborative approach with clients, like a driving instructor taking someone for a drive. As time goes on I’ll hand over more control to you until you’re the one confident enough to drive.

I help my clients to identify and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs that are contributing to their anxiety and depression.

My work with university students has included working with challenges, such as academic stress, test anxiety, and social isolation. I can also help students to develop effective study habits and time management skills by increasing their self-esteem and confidence.

I have experience working with group therapy and help run a men’s support group in the Lanarkshire area. I work with a variety of issues, such as relationship problems, work stress, and anger management. I can also help men to develop a more positive sense of self.

Through my work, I’ve run workshops and information sessions for large corporations, including Police Scotland, on how to improve and better manage mental health.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help treat a number of issues. Below are some of the issues I’ve worked with.
